desire for knowledge
Control any excessive desire for knowledge;
you will find it a great distraction and very deceiving.
The knowledgeable like to be recognized and spoken of as wise.
Much of what may be known is of little value to the soul.
To search for anything other than what serves our salvation is indeed very unwise.
